What does my registration fee include?

Registering for the IMPAC Conference covers access to all the main sessions, IMPAC materials, speech coaching, meals and snacks.

Is lodging included with my registration?

No. Communicators are responsible for their own lodging arrangements. IMPAC may reference local lodging options if available.

What does it mean to "audit" the conference?

An attendee that audits the conference pays a lesser fee that includes access to all the main sessions, IMPAC materials, meals and snacks. A communicator who audits does not participate in the afternoon speech preparation time or the evening speech presentations and coaching. A husband or wife who only audits will not get to hear their spouses speeches.

Am I required to give a speech at the conference?

Yes. Communicators will give 3 speeches that are 5 minutes each in the speech group they are assigned to.

Who will be in my speech group?

A speech group is typically composed of 5-7 people in addition to the coach. We offer male and female speech coaches, based on coach availability and also offer mixed speech groups per registration dynamics.

How long is registration available?

Registration typically closes two weeks prior to the start of the conference unless available slots are sold out.

Is there a dress code for the conference?

Business casual or semi-formal attire is expected.

Is this conference just for pastors?

No. We welcome SS teachers, educators, sales and business leaders and anyone else who wants to grow in effective communication.

What note-taking supplies will I need?

You will be provided with an IMPAC workbook and pens for note-taking. A device/laptop is not required.

Is babysitting available?

No. We are not making any provision for children to attend the event. Infants may accompany their parents.
